This program offers the chance to for children to become explorers and scientists. This program at Bowdoin Park is for ages 6-8 with their parents or caregivers. All supplies are provided, and perticipants take their artwork home.Įaglet Adventures- offered seasonally & as a weekly summer program. These classes follow a step-by-step format and take place at Quiet Cove Park. Students can take one class or all three within the series.Īdult Park Palette-offered two - three times a year.Īdults 18+ learn how to paint Hudson River landscapes using acrylic. All supplies are provided, and students take their artwork home. These classes follow a step-by-step format and take place at Bowdoin Park.

This three-week series is for students ages 10-18. The Park Palette Art Series- offered seasonally.
These curriculum-based programs are offered throughout the year to schools, scout groups, clubs and organizations, home school communities, and to the public. This fosters a better connection, allowing the lesson to stay with the student long after they have left the park. The programs combine hands-on activities with guided discovery. Enroll early to assure a seat in your class of choice.Īll registrations must be paid in full one week prior to the class. No shows and late cancellations will not receive a refund. Only persons canceling one (1) week prior to class will be granted a refund of the $20.00 enrollment fee. The full tuition of $215.00 will be charged for future classes. If you need to cancel your attendance for any reason, you will not be granted the discounted rate of $20.00 to take the class in the future. The $195.00 tuition is being paid by a grant from New York State and administrated by the Dutchess County Health Department. When you enroll, $20.00 is for registration and $195.00 is tuition. The Lead Safety Class you are taking has a full tuition of $215.00. Individuals attending RRP training will have their picture taken as part of EPA’s certification process. Please note that EPA has been rather busy enforcing the RRP provisions. That individual is then responsible for insuring that the other employees on site are trained in lead safe work practices and that these practices are in use when and where appropriate. We also offer half day refresher classes for persons needing to renew their certifications.Įffective April 22, 2010, The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires that all landlords, contractors, property management firms, or handymen who do renovation, remodeling or painting work, in pre-1978 housing or child occupied facilities, complete Lead Safety for Remodeling, Repair and Painting (RRP) training.ĮPA requires that at least one individual from each company or crew complete the Lead Safety for Remodeling, Repair and Painting (RRP) training.
